حيث تكلم سماحته عن التقليد مختص في فروع الدين وأما أصول الدين ومايرجع إليها من اعتقادات فلاتقليد فيها وعلى الإنسان المكلف أن يطور من مستواه الذهني ويجب البحث والتدقيق والمقارنة والمفاضلة وأيضاً يقول سماحته أن الصدق والانصاف والوسطية والاعتدال لاترضي النفوس المريضة المشحونة بالكره والبغضاء والطائفية والتطرف خاصة مع تلوث المجتمعات بالسياسة ومكرالتسلط والشعوذة والاستئكال المقرون بسوء الخلق والانحلال ويضيف المفكر الإسلامي قال علي-عليه السلام- ....
« لله بلاء فُلاَن ،(عمر) فَلَقَدْ قَوَّمَ الاْوَدَ، وَدَاوَى الْعَمَدَ ، وَأَقَامَ السُّنَّةَ ، وَخَلَّفَ الْفِتْنَةَ ! ذَهَبَ نَقِيَّ الثَّوْبِ، قَلِيلَ الْعَيْبِ ، أَصَابَ خَيْرَهَا، وَسَبَقَ شَرَّهَا ، أَدَّى إِلَى اللهِ طَاعَتَهُ ، وَاتَّقَاهُ بِحَقِّهِ ، رَحَلَ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِي طُرُق مَتَشَعِّبَة ، لاَ يَهْتَدِي بِهَا الضَّالُّ ، وَلاَ يَسْتَيْقِنُ الْمُهْتَدِي » .( (3 /92 جزء12).
